Why can’t we all just get along?
by Kevin Garnett (PF Boston Celtics)
Peace. Paz. Pace.
Our children deserve a world that can empathize. A world that can feel. Humanity should be humane, if not for us, then for the simple truth that it is our telos. Please, for the love of all things holy, let us live in harmony as one.
Right after I get done yanking Carmelo Anthony’s arm out of its socket as he rolls to the hoop.
Life is temporal. Happiness is fleeting. Because all beings are subject to these axioms, we mustn’t hesitate to love. Respecting one another as sovereign individuals, rejecting harm. May we bathe each other in the radiant glow of human kindness. I beg of you.
Just as soon as I set this illegal screen with my elbows on a helpless defender.
The beauty of life lies in the unseen interconnectedness of all creatures. The birds. The bees. Flip Saunders. Together, we can achieve more when we put down our swords, and fight with our smiles. Like John Lennon once said, “you either stop fighting for peace or you die.” We must choose to live. Live for peace.
Now excuse me while I tell you what your wife’s pussy tastes like while you shoot free throws.
